Not sure what our VP of the USA was on about yesterday on youtube, but let me just tell you all something, they can ALL go to hell in Washington. No more stories, No more "Washington will make it all better," Not another Trillion of debt. NO! Let's clean this shit UP "NOW!"We all know as fact that, it’s both sides against the middle class and poor and we know who they have been working for all this time; themselves.

It's beyond time for the people of this great country to fix these problems. Some are awake, some are soon to wake, thanks to the OWS march in NYC and around the world. I'm proud of these young kids, good for them! Taking a stand.

These people btw, (The scum bums in Big Business and Government, etc) need to be held accountable. Let’s round them up and get them into a court room. They suck (We all know it) and are criminals (Except for maybe, I don’t know.. like 1%-5% of them in Washington D.C. and maybe 50% of the BB)

Let’s wipe the slate clean, get ourselves some “great” Campaign Finance Reform Legislation and take our country back from the crooks, (Let's let any man or woman run for the high offices, not just the rich) Back in the beginning, men like Washington and Adams did their time and then went back to private life on the farm or in their business. Career politicians is not the way to go! Term Limits! Term Limits! Say it with me.

Many got a little (no scratch that, MUCH) too greedy. I think a lot of these companies who failed and or lay people off, would have survived and saved some workers jobs.

Let's bring the Men and Women Home from war and get out of all the worlds business, start taking care of our own. Let them be. If they attack the USA, “Crush em,” crush them like a grape.

10 years is too long for a war folks, too many great Americans died, and the ones coming home soon won’t know where they are. At this point, I doubt any of these wars on terror was ever/is for any GOOD, more like BIG CONTRACTS For Washington types and FAT CATS, you know, for POWER by Fists and guns and bombs, Real Estate and Oil rich Land Grabs, which, in time somewhere down the road, is only going to lead to more wealth for the super rich. And more pissed off poor people, only they will be from across the pond.

Public, and it’s the workers and consumers taking the kick in the ass and not us GREEDY BUMS? Fine!)

Ahhh shit! I wish I was president; I'd be cracking some jaws and taking names with any people not being held accountable from this point on. You can only screw us 3, 5 or 8 times, the ninth – and WOW! Everyone is going to get all whacko.

Pisses me off! I think we should all OWS, and Occupy the Major Media, and Occupy major Insurance Companies, Occupy Hospitals, Occupy it all!!!! Occupy the Lobbyist systems, the Banks (Housing bubble rip offs) let’s do this!

P.S. We need new oversight for the oversights and maybe a layer or two of more oversights ON TOP OF all that. (W e had good oversight committees in the past, let’s get them all Back), (Think Las Vegas, surveillance... "Everyone has to be watched in Big Business and Government, like a spoiled rotten child.."

Hospitals should be about caring for people NOT A BOTTOM LINE or Census (Number of patients filling beds), same goes for companies. We need people caring for their neighbors, we need baseball and football players to piss off, Give the Stadiums Back to the cities, and tickets pay for Police and Fire and Streets Dept. Get Gillette and Minute Maid out of Sports!

Oh.. And a message to all the STATES in the good old USA! Let's remember why we have States, Let's work on things from the ground up and finally clean the massive, years in the making shit UP, because those in Washington and Big Business are shitting and pissing down on 99% of us. Life is a crazy thing. It is Pretty easy when your career, health and the economy are going well. Pain in the nuts and mind when things start going south. Add and accident, a spider bite and some really poor life decisions "over many years" and you are facing and living a F.U. B. A . R. life. *Please send me a comment if you don't understand F U B A R.

The worst part of all this for me was/is not knowing bottom. Years of trying to get back up to my previous best and even better only to find multiple new lows. Finding out how many real friends you have on this rocket ride called life is also a nasty kick in the balls. There is some good though once you get to looking for good. You find out who the "great and real friends" are.

A lot of things I did in the past to earn money I can no longer do. Period. I can also can not change the fact that moves I made in the internet poker arena have ended the way they did. Looking back, I did learn a lot about building web sites and SEO, and I did make a great friend, a bloke from across the pond named Chris Naish.

While Chris and I lost with Real Deal Poker, we also gained. We were able to set things up so that if Real Deal had made it happen. We were without a doubt, set in life as our sites would have gained more clicks than the actual companies (RealDeal) site itself.. We also know where our hearts were with the company. 100% for it to succeed.

I have to accept this; look to the positive aspects, and finally embrace and conquer the change. Master it. In a nut shell, have to keep getting back on the horse, even if my horse is a complete asshole bronco ball buster. Ha ha. I have to start over. Ugh, it hurts saying that last sentence.

The last couple of months have been hell for me and my family and it's time to get back to the top. (the reason for the lack of posts) Slow and easy forward I go. No looking back. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm sorry to all who loved me when I was lost and screwing up bad.

I'll say again to my wife and child. I'm so sorry. Thanks for not giving up on me. I'll also say thanks to Chris for throwing me a line of hope.

Here is to better days! I'm all in.

P.S. The future of my fundraiser for US veterans is unknown. While I'm still a good 40 lbs lighter than the start. I have faltered in the last few weeks. I'm thinking about all of it, my situation and wondering if I need to donate to myself at the moment, suspend it all for now and continue it when times are better. Truth is, I'm not sure what I'm doing on all this, I don't want to bring shame to something I care a lot about (Veterans) or myself but I may have bit off more than I could chew givin the kind of year I'm having. Please know that I still do for my Vets and still will, I just ran a BBQ at the VA hospital about 4 weeks ago. Working one day is one thing I hope I can always do.

Captains Log, Tuesday March 1, 2011. Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Downs.

Aliens, it has to be aliens or some of that Voo Doo magic that has me going deep but not cashing. I had a glimmer of hope in last nights game however when I was in a situation being short stacked, in the BB with A3 suited. Mid position player, who is all about quality raises, calls, one more linps and then another caller has me thinking super pot odds in the Mohegan Sun Pocono Downs poker room. A chance to get 4 times my money short stacked. I got to call so I do.

Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs has not been all that kind to me in these situations so I was pleasantly supprised when I hit a straight, A2345. The initial raiser hit a set of 8's, one had QQ and the other AK. My A3 made it happen. I was back in the game but the blinds where high. Hey I'll take it.

Sadly, after all this excitement - my luck ran dry and I was card dead. I was able to steal some blinds a few times with super tight players in the small and big blinds ahead of me. This is really the only thing that got me to the final table. I came to the final table about second to last in chips and the boys with the big stacks were doing what boys with big stacks do. Punishing us small stacks. (The Bastards) lol, hell, I'd do the same.

My final table blues continued and I was out 8th. Pays started at 5.

That was last night, today's a whole new deal. In about an hour I'll drive the thirty minutes to the Pocono Downs poker room and start it all over again. Each game, I'll learn more. Each game, I'll learn the regular players play "more and more" and in time I'll be sitting with Ivey and the Grinder.

I got to shake these final table blues.

Losing all the flips, dry spells in poker

I wonder if the big names of poker (big money players) even care about dry spells in poker tournaments?

I'm really trying to improve my game by reading books, visiting web sites for poker strategy, talking to winning players and playing online small ball, just to get the feel for these various "new ways" of playing. I'm getting the hands in with the best, being drawn out, playing flips and losing. When you're the bug and the windshield is your opponents, well... Brace yourself. You're gonna die!

Lately, I'm a 400 pound splattered bug. (Sometimes in poker, players are always the bug, games where no matter what you do, we can't win a wooden knickle and we know we're headed to that window) In other words, Poker is the Devil.

Coin Flip Hands -

The coin flips in poker is where I'm losing bigtime, heads up hands with me holding AK/button, being called, and pushed on the flop/or pushed pre-flop by a small stack BB with 55. The coin flips cost me huge this past month. Pretty sure I can't do anything about these situations.

I'm due for a streak of flips that are going to go my way. Right?

See how it works on you? I know I'm due, but I feel like it's always going to be this way.. (Oh, the pain!) When you're short on cash and you like paying your bills, it get's old. I'd go bonkers if I had a 10K + bankroll for poker tournaments. Millions.. Forgettabouuuttt it..

Don't even get me started on pocket A's and K's this past month. They were magnets for small "sets." Little pairs , 3's, 4's and 5's all hit huge and played me like a fiddle. Players dug in deep and went runner runner on my to the river straight.

Well, I'm not going to go on and on about this, the cards will turn. Sure they will. I'm just putting it out there to share my pain a little and to explain to newer players that "It happens" - Shit happens. I'm putting this out here, placing it in a box and throwing it overboard.

I'm playing poker a long time, latley I'm being forced into a limited income (bad back after a big fall) has my pockets short from time to time. Again, I'll stick with paying my bills thanks very much. (seems like the right thing to do) Point is, we all hit these dry spells in poker. Some say to play right through them, that's fine for the Richy rich folks. Not for us PO folks.

Hope you're winning your flips guys.. If not, give it time; this too shall pass.

If it doesn't soon change? Does anyone know of any Voo Doo witches that can take this spell of me? Maybe a priest can preform an exorcist? I dunno, something.

There should totally be a place where poker players could go to get a re-boot when things go rough at the tables. Man.. Last few sessions, live, in both tourneys and cash NL games have been a kick in my junk. I have KK, they have AA. I have KQ suites on button, they have AA in BB.

I have AA, they hit three of a kind. Of course! Why not.

I'm in need of some cleansing of some kind. My poker karma is way out of whack. If you know of such a place or if you have a friend with experience in crystals or some Voo Doo magic. Please have them contact me here.

Who can afford playing poker today? I mean really, Times are whacked.

Last week I borrowed $100 off a friend when my debit card did not work at the Mohegan Sun Poker room's ATM cash vacuum cleaner. It was chance running into a guy that would "hook" me up no questions asked. I thought what LUCK. I always pay my debts and he was like.. "No problem."

Nice.

I lost.

I played really bad poker and was irked by the fact that my ATM debit card failed me in the first place. (Turns out at 43 years old, I'm forgetting pin numbers for my various cards) Not good.

So anyway, my pal and I have hooked each other up like this from time to time over the years and it was only one hundred dollars. With Christmas and all we have not been able to connect with each other (I called a few times wanting to pay him back)
Then last night my FaceBook account was a glow with message after message requesting the cash-Ola. lol.

My friend wanted to play in today's $65 tourney at Mohegan Sun Poker at Pocono Downs and was crushed by Christmas money wise. So off I go early this am to you guessed it - the ATM. I wanted to sleep until noon givin the fact that my kid is off school but a rounder in need of action, well.. let's just say I understand.

The question I have is this.. When you are strapped for cash until payday, etc. or just plain poor. Do you play as good as you normally can? I mean, he's down to his last few pesos till Friday. Is my pal ruined today before even buying in? Does playing with empty pockets hurt or help?

I guess we will see.. He just left about a half hour ago and should be buying in right about now.

Times are tough these days and people that used to have a cash cushion no longer seem to have it. I'll always respect players who gain victories playing from the ho hum poor side of the tracks over the Phil Ivey's of the world. I mean, guys like Ivey make more in rake a day from Full Tilt Poker. Why do these guys even play poker? To win "more money?"

It is a lucky few that have the money of a Doyle Brunson, Dusty Schmidt or Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, the rest of us play under the extra added stress of bunny eared pockets most times.

My buddy has a dream of making it big in the poker world and I for one, hope he does it. He studies, he plays tons, and he's got game. His table is all set, all he needs is the steak.

Many of you know this, I messed up, busting out 10th on the final table.. I made many donk moves, playing bad position, small pocket pairs (in this case 3'a) and I bet "ALL IN" against a mad man to my right...

What can I say.. I was in another world, (out of my mind) I never make such moves and I'm totally of the (stop and think rule) but for whatever reason, (TILT? I don't think I was tilt) I jammed it all in with at best a bad flip. Mad man called me with AJ off (man - would have been a great spot to have AK) but he "hit" his J and it mattered not.

I read this week that Doyle says NL holdem is a game of BIG CARDS... The more and more I play.. I agree.

I don't know why I made such a gut move, I never do... but I did and it cost me $, so never again, lesson learned... Next hand please.

All this went down at the Mohegan Sun Poker room at Pocono Downs. It had a bright side to it, my poker pal Chunky came in 3rd.. and picked up some nice gifts for his 12 year old boy.. (He's going to love the gift! Shhhh) I'll never tell.

About 3 months ago I joined a site called Drag the Bar.com and boy, I think I finally found a teaching site I like... They offer a free 7 days if anyone here cares to give it a try. I'm posting as Xfilespoker.com on the DTB forums.

Last night, I finished a 4 part video series by poker coach "Brent Sheirbon – aka “El Rubio” - " and I like his style of play. It took about 4 hours (1 hour each video) and I found many leaks in my MTT game. I'm starting another series today, his "Approach to Large Field MTTs (Part 1)" video series.

He has a good outlook on coin flips.. how to look out for the easy money, among other things.. I give him a thumbs up.

Well well, turns out at least 24 people (An all time record I might add, lol) read my poker blog... or at least the few extra people are reading it these days because they are following the key words "Real Deal Poker." That's cool. I'll thank the nice people for responding to my post yesterday and all I want to add at this point is this... My partner and I worked countless hours for free, investing our time and money (Good money relatively speaking) in a company that we believed in. Time and time again we called for drastic changes in direction.. Time and time again, we were told we knew nothing.

The following is a nice rant from my pal Chris, (My partner in Real Deal News, etc..) "His words in bold black text.."

For the record, Gene Gioia and his daughter told me and my partner many times that we secured the most active players on his Real Deal site, and I quote, were "The only ones making any money..." (Really Gene, the only ones making money.. I guess RD donated the rake of our players to charity) This statement about us making money was never true of course as Chris and I (My partner in the U.K./Germany) always found new SEO products, etc... to invest our earned money in. (And then some) We not only did not make money.. we lost money.

I'll add that many from Gene's crew were plain rude and I think jealous of our player sign-ups , not all.. of course, but certainly the manager and workers of Genes marketing team.

Instead of working with Chris and I, (The marketing team) they chose to ignore us for the most part. (I always found that hard to believe... Anyone using basic logic would see that we wanted to see Real Deal make it happen..) It was like they wanted RD to FAIL. Maybe, just maybe some that were hired by Gene had other plans for Real Deal Poker. Not good plans, plans of making it fail from the get go. It's the only explanation due to the horrid moves made by some on Genes infallible team.

Look, I can talk, but I'm no writer.. this is known by all.. so I'll hand this rant over to my partner Chris... (He's much better with words) Enjoy.

(Chris asked me to post this because blogger does not allow such long comments) For me, this will close this non Real Deal chapter in my life. If there is anyone who really has integrity out there and wants to build a poker site that cares about it's customers.. contact me here I guess. (Chris and I will watch what you're doing for a few years and get back to you) We certainly will NOT be working for free.

You know Tom; I don't think it was Gene’s intention to rip us off. I think there are hidden agendas out there, just like you always said except that the agendas are now to cover asses just in case another online business opportunity arises. Perhaps we are scapegoats?

Here's how it works, you tell somebody that you know what you’re doing to promote and build an online poker room. (You don't but you say that to get the position anyway, perhaps you got lucky in the early days of poker rooms when competition wasn’t so fierce. Now however you have no clue now how to deal with the overwhelming might of Pokerstars or Full Tilt)

You fuck it all up in ways that the average Joe would never know about by using dated promotion methods that no longer work and then blame others for the lack of people visiting the site. WOW! You even get away with it... Unless somebody points it out of course...

Let’s see, your business is online right? Where would you choose to promote if money is tight?

a) Online perhaps where your business actually is and is very cheap. Or...

b) In a high street park in London which will cost thousands, especially if you fly a celebrity (That you also have to pay) and an entourage around the world to get there?

If you chose ‘a)’ you got the right answer! Give yourself a point. Perhaps you were thinking of a PPC (pay per click campaign) that would bring visitors almost immediately or some off page SEO to bring in visitors long term? If you were then you would have probably done a better job of promoting Realdealpoker than certain others.

Question 2 is a little tougher; I'll give you a little education before I ask it...

You have an online poker site, what is the first thing you need? (That is not the question although I might well have asked whoever was in charge of building and promoting the RDP site that!)Personally I would choose visitors to my site who are interested in actually playing poker, anyone agree?
So, if you are experienced in promoting an online poker site you would try to get to number one in the search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN for things that people may type (DO type in if you know what you’re doing) into search engines when they are looking for a poker site to play on right?
Of course, you know this! You’re an expert at promoting poker sites online. They can’t fail with your backing can they?

Hmm… Perhaps nobody at Realdealpoker knew this most basic of online concepts however or if they did, they didn’t have a fucking clue how to do it. Then again, perhaps you were right Tom. Sabotage from the inside is always a possibility but I prefer to think these people are just stupid.

(Sorry I digress but people reading this should not forget that online poker is worth millions and millions every year, you think the knife gets put in now and again?)

So, for example if you were to type ‘play poker’ into Google (without the ‘’) you probably will find that www.pokerstars.com is in first position followed by http://www.playwinningpoker.com/articles/how-to-play-poker/ (This may vary depending on which of Google’s data center’s feeds you, results will vary in each region)
The biggest online poker site on the planet gets first place, no surprise there! But hey… look who gets second, that site looks like a pile of shit but it’s in second place. WOW!!!! How did he get there? 2nd place in Google! The biggest search engine online, for ‘play poker’? That motherfucker must have shares in Google!

No, he just knows what he is doing is all. He knows how to get to the top of the search engines and onto page 1 where you get most clicks from people looking to ‘play poker’. The man probably spent months if not years getting there and you can bet he is reaping the benefits right now. Good work! Whoever owns this site is/was a workaholic or paid out a lot to get the work done to get him where he is. Good on him!

Like I said, you don’t get to page one for a search phrase like ‘play poker’ without a shitload of work but if your site is new you can target less competitive phrases like ‘where is the best place to play poker online’ (I’m not saying that is a good word or that is has any traffic, I just pulled it out of the air for an example) not many people are competing for this keyword I would imagine in comparison to ‘play poker’ so if you know what you are doing and you have resources behind you could probably make it to page 1 of Google at least for this phrase, The benefit being if 15 people per day type this phrase into Google you get an extra 15 potential sign ups to your site every day. Not something your average Joe would know but I imagine somebody in charge of promoting an online poker site would know this huh?
Now, imagine you are doing this for a whole bunch of phrases related to people who want to play poker, things like:

Where to play poker online

Best poker site online

Fishiest poker site online

Where can I play poker on the internet?

Play online poker for money

Play online poker for real money

Poker online for low stakes

Play online poker for small money

(I have not checked these keywords for traffic by the way, just examples. Don’t go building sites around these keywords! lol)
See where I’m going? All these visitors, maybe 10 people per phrase all add up to people signing up and playing at your site. Again, an online poker promoter would know this… Wouldn’t they?
Making the big-time and hitting No1 for phrases like ‘best poker site’ will take time and work but targeting niches that are easier to dominate will keep you alive and keep visitors coming to your site day in day out. Start small to get people visiting; word of mouth from these new visitors will help also.

Alternatively do no off site SEO at all and wonder why the fuck nobody turned up to play poker. *Sigh

One of the things you can do to tell the search engines that you want to rank for a particular phrase is to use ‘meta data’, this is a shit way to do it that is very ineffective for real SEO (Search engine Optimization) benefits but would compliment real SEO efforts. Unfortunately there were no real SEO efforts on the part of the person in charge of SEO at RDP. They decided that spending thousands on going to a park in London for a jaunt was more important to promotion when cash was tight by the look of things.
Probably Tom’s fault they failed however because he decided to be truthful (Remember honesty, integrity and all that?) and publish an honest post that less than 100 people out of the MILLIONS (yes MILLIONS) of poker players online read it. WOW! Fuck me Tom! How did you manage to push away over 9 million online poker players? You dumb fuck!
You should never have argued with people in the forum either Tom, that’s bound to push away another couple of million players, what the fuck is wrong with you? ;-)

Perspective, it’s a crazy thing.

Tom’s fault RDP went down? Fuck off! Less than 100 people see his post and its negative publicity maybe that fucked RDP?
NOBODY REALLY KNEW ABOUT RDP!!!! What did any of you at RDP do to bring it to the masses? Not a fucking lot!
The RDP team knew fuck all about how to promote online, THAT IS WHY THEY FAILED!

I remember when things were looking bad for RDP and I spoke to Gene Gioia, here’s what I told him…

“Whoever sorted out the onsite SEO for your Realdealpoker.com was useless; they stuffed the Meta data that the search engines read with dozens and dozens of keywords. (Used to work a long time ago but now it is considered spam) Most of the keywords were not even for poker for some bizarre reason! If you want poker players, target poker players by using poker related words not casino related words.
If their strategy of keyword stuffing the site with casino keywords to bring visitors had worked, (which it wouldn’t have) it would be the wrong type of visitor turning up anyway. Hmm… I’m looking for an online casino, I end up at Realdealkpoker: “Oh look, this is a poker site not a casino. I think I’ll just hit the back button on my browser”

Poof! Gone.

So here is question 2:

If you have an online poker site and you want to get targeted traffic do you stuff your meta data with…

a) Dozens of poker and casino(?) search phrases.

b) Dozens of poker search phrases only that will bring visitors who are actually interested in the product you are promoting You would have to research which keywords poker player are looking for but somebody in charge of promoting an online poker site would know this. (Keyword stuffing is still bad and ineffective even if it is relevant however)

c) Just target relevant poker searches without doing the keyword stuffing for searches that bring no traffic or traffic that is interested in a different subject completely?

What a fucking no brainer! Unless you don’t know what the fuck you’re doing of course.

But I guess you’re not talking to me and tom because less than a hundred people read his honest post!

I offered to help you, you didn’t take that option. If you are planning on re opening I suggest you find new staff to promote your site properly.

The money is no biggie for me, I had nothing in the way of money to buy my girlfriend's daughter a birthday present with as I was relying on the paycheck for all the players we sent to your site but I still said to Tom:

“Tell him to keep our money if it helps keep RDP afloat”

When you ignored my “hello, how is it going?” for the third time on Skype I decided to ask via all resources I had available for outstanding money, Paul Gambrill informed me that it was over 1.8k. Not much to you but a lot to me.

There is no excuse for ignorance in that respect, I can understand your ignorance to how promoting an online poker site happened but your ignorance toward friends is inexcusable and leads me to believe there was no integrity there in the first place, just words… Just words.

Tom, he swears by the marines, since when did cutting out those who tried to help become part of the marine creed? Look to those who really fucked you! My experience with British military infantry is way different, dangerous men but look after those who look after them. Honor is a rare thing these days, having no honor publicly must hurt for an ex marine.
In my opinion RDP was doomed from day 1, (although I didn’t know it when I began to promote) I knew very little about SEO before I started working to promote RDP but today, I know for a fact that I know more that the entire team that tried to promote RDP. They were a fucking joke, this goes for the online aspect. The offline promotion was a great idea but with money shortages…?
If anybody doubts that then they do not know SEO in the slightest.

Gene, if you have been misled into thinking that the actions of either myself or Tom resulted in your downfall then you are very much mistaken. Grow up and get a grip on what I have just told you. Verify it with experts if you think I’m full of shit, just beware that most ‘experts’ don’t know it all as you are now finding out. Ask to see page 1 Google results before you deal with anyone. (Page 1 results for competitive search phrases!)
You’re audience was millions; you want to fuck Tom over by not speaking to him for reporting honestly? After standing behind you for years? Go ahead, his honesty maybe put off thousand players. (Yeah, right. More like 20!) Your team however failed to target hundreds of thousands of poker players.
Where does the blame lie?

When you refused to listen to Tom’s input I guess he saw it as a last resort to try and drill into you that your people knew little about getting players to tables.
The party that is behind online promo for RDP in my opinion should be ashamed of the job they have done and distance their name from RDP, bad for business. Why not push the blame onto Tom Dwyer? Might work! lol
Realdealpoker.com is a great looking websites but the SEO behind the pretty look is a pile of dogs shit, I don’t know if the site designers were responsible for this aspect, I hope not for their client’s sake. All I do know is that somebody is responsible and should answer for it.

Gene if you’re reading this then do the right thing, man up and make your apologies to Tom. You’re in the wrong and in your heart you must know this! I don't think you're a bad person, I do think you are looking at all of this from a warped perspective however.

Next time anybody wants to say we were clowns in the promotion of RDP, take a look at the big picture.

Last piece of information and a peace offering:

There is no meta data on RDP at this moment, Why? OK, all the shit has been removed, well done!!! That’s a good start. If you are planning on reopening however you should really think about doing some work to rank for relevant search phrases that will bring traffic now, it takes time so waiting until you are open before you do it is a sure fire way to end up bankrupt again because nobody is visiting… Still.
Meta data isn’t worth a great deal anyway but it does help a little if used correctly, if anyone who designed the site would like a little help or information in the SEO department feel free to contact me via Tom.

A Real Lesson learned from Real Deal Poker.

Well.. Real Deal Poker is just another site to rip us affiliates off.. and it's still all good. I'm done with going deep with new start up online poker companies until they show me months or years of being honest.

Couple months ago, Gene Gioia of Real Deal left me and my partner high and dry after playing us like a fiddle for over 3 years. No sense in going into all the details at this time, Real Deal & Gene Gioia's just not worth the time it would take.. Let's just say what goes around comes around.

The only way I'd forgive Gene Gioia is if I heard he was in a coma. He surrounded himself with garbage and garbage well... stinks.

The RD site posted long ago that it would be back up and running, that it was coming back stronger. Take some advice from Big Daddy and stay clear if they ever open again. Sad.

All is not lost, I learned tons of SEO stuff while working for RD (I worked for FREE 99% of the time) over the past 3+ years. While I lost some good cash investing in our RD dedicated sites.. I picked up life knowledge that is worth millions.

I gave Gene Gioia many months to get back to Chris and I about our payments owed and the status of RD... and let's just be clear here.. He went from talking to us every other day for years to... GONE. He's all of a sudden a GHOST. Investors with this man are the biggest losers in all this.. I lost a few thousand.. no biggie.

As good an idea it was.. Real Deal in the end was just another scam it appears... A total waste of time and a real shame.

It's time.

A few years back, this rounder almost died. I can remember like it was yesterday when I rented a beach house in North Carolina thinking I was saying goodbye to my then 2 year old little girl (Angel) and wife (Also an angel), of, at that time 15 years. That was in 2006. The last W.S.O.P. I attended, was in 2005. Prior to that, I was to Vegas some 50 times. Funny how life works out... Thank you God! Seems Gods plan for me was not quite finished. I'll tell you one thing.. If you ever want a great life boost, kick in the tail... do what you love in life. (In my case - play and talk poker) I suggest, as shitty as it is to go thru.. to almost die and do a lot of praying. Always have hope!

Some love me. A few can't stand me. I am what I am. I'm how I am. I don't play games and I tell you like it is face to face, I'm a huge, big talking, poker playing, lover of God, Family and Country and I live for fair and honest poker games... This year I'm returning to Vegas Baby! Hide your ladies guys! Big Daddy is about to do a world class belly flop right into the Rio's poker action.

I'm far from 100% health wise and truth is, I have a load of weight to lose. but I'm going to be there rocking it in Vegas again and that's good enough for me. Why I feel at home in casinos is a bit if a mystery, but I'd have to think it has to do with the fact that I grew up going on family vacations (Atlantic City hotels) with my mother and father. (I dunno.. I just loved them casinos, I think it was all the energy, lights!) My father played black-jack and I'd watch the action from the brass rails at Bally's. I was hooked! I loved the huge hotels, the fancy meals, (we was poor I tell ya!) and of course the shows! Dad always took me to the shows! I seen some of the greatest performers alive before I was 15! Yeppers.. I just love it all.

Why fight it, this poker bug? (no need to.. DO WHAT YOU LOVE PEOPLE!) I was happy doing professional photography for over 20 years... I really was.. I made a great living at it too. (I was no longer poor and it beat putting roofs on houses) I'm not too shabby at it either, if I have to say so myself. I have two degrees in photography, (One a teaching degree) that sadly, I never really got to use... and many awards. But, you know what. I do all this photo stuff part time now. Now. For me, it's poker poker poker and I love every second of it. (Funny thing.. Even my photography is better,all around now, I think because I only shoot what I want to shoot.. when I want to shoot it!) There is a great peace with this..

OK.. So lets review, I almost died (from a little spider bite mind you) , missed a load of poker action since 2006, fought back.. and decided to do what I love from there on out. Then what? Simple. Remember all the praying? It works at times. I caught a break, caught some good cards, and ran into a great man some 3+ years ago, who, like me, also demanded fair and honest poker. Only, his dream was to bring fair and honest cards games to online poker! OMG! A match made in heaven. I Followed this mans quest almost everyday since then, we became a friends, and I helped out where I could. (Gene and I are POKER BLOOD BROTHERS) We must have logged a thousand hours + on skype talking and typing poker and how it should provide us serious players of the game, with more security. Players should get a "Real Deal!.'

Why? (I told you silly.. For some reason this lug loves everything about poker! Loves Action! "within reason" , and loves the casino towns like Vegas and Atlantic City. I'm at home in places like this.) DO WHAT YOU LOVE PEOPLE! Yes, I know how silly this may sound to some... but, I can work hours on poker, writing poker, playing poker, teaching poker.. and I never look at the clock. I never "feel" like I'm working. I love being a part of something special like RealDealPoker as well... Helping to bring players the first ever live deck online, provable fair and honest action is plain cool.. and feels right! It feels good.

So, his name? This God sent Angel to me and all of poker??? Gene Gioia. He's a good man and a real rounders rounder, he's trying his best to bring real deck poker to your computer screens. I'm doing my best to help him do it. This week, IN VEGAS BABY!!!! Maybe you will decide to help him too (And make some money signing up the 30 million + online cash players playing poker right now! Online!)

After what seems like 80 years.. I'll finally meet my poker pal face to face, get to shake his hand.. to meet some of his family and a few workers from his amazing crew, and... apparently, party like it's 1999 as Gene has quite a week set up for everyone. Mr. Gioia was nice enough to pay my ticket to Vegas with a hotel room included. (How can I not love this man!!) I told him to put me up in some small dive, since I would be alone... so he put me at the Venetian of course. Who knows? Maybe I'll drop a few pounds walking to and from my room. MAN.. This is a big place. (Give me the days of the Dunes, Hacienda, and the Sands.. ) but - listen.. You can't look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm going to enjoy being UPTOWN for a few days. I promise.. I'll still be 100% Big Daddy real. I'll always fight for the regular poker joes...

Oh! The best part. Gene just hired 5 time world boxing champ, Evander Holyfield to promote RealDeal Poker, so I'll be dusting off my Nikons and joining the entourage.. (Don't worry, I'm bringing my body guard) Gene has invited me to be a part of all this and I feel like a 20 year old again... I hope to snag some great images for Gene. If I do.. I'll donate them to the Real Deal Poker cause, fair and honest online poker. Real Poker online, not online poker. (Did you get my press pass Gene old buddy old pal?) No Charge for Mr. Gioia. I love my new RealDealPoker tattoo.

I have a new Real Deal Poker “logo” tattoo that I’d thought I’d share. It’s only 4 days new. It’s been about 4/5 years since my last tattoo and the first one I had done south of the elbow. (I love it!) I’ve admired the logo since first seeing it years ago, my favorite color is blue and.. well, being a lover of the game of poker, it just fits me. The fact that I believe in the Real Deal Company is just icing on the cake.
Hollywood stars play poker, rocks stars play poker , girls are playing more and more and everyday guys like me of course, play poker – Many of us enjoy tattoos, Poker and Tattoos match up pretty nice. Some love to look at them, others like to judge them and some – go tilt doing so. (This is a great thing!) We can use money earned from these tilt players for more tattoos.

Here is the pic of my RealDealPoker tattoo. The shine is from Vitamin “E” oil. This image is just after the tat was finished. In about a week it will be totally healed. It’s washed a good few times a day, 15 ari dry and then E oil applied. We do this so that the tattoo heals best. The colors will also hold up best with the vitamin E.

To me, tattoos are like my own personal totem pole. The tattoos I have are visual notes from some of the bigger and exciting parts of my life. Things I Love and or believe or both. I’ve never put a tattoo on my body that I later turned out to hate. (Some do of course, but not me) I take my time deciding and do it when it feels right. I love them all. Many of my TATS had months or years of thought behind their design and placement. It’s a thing I do totally for myself and that I totally without question enjoy. I’m greedy with/about my tattoos. (lol) If people enjoy my tattos (and of course I hope they do)– It’s awesome. When and if certain people have issues with tattoos; That’s awesome too. (98% of tattoo wearing people, I’d guess also do it for themselves and don’t care much at all what people that judge them think) It still strikes me funny how some people will look away when seeing my tattoos – (I guess the biker gangs of the 1960’s really scared the hell out of some people) Just a guess. Who knows why? Change? Being Different, Their strict upbringing? Who knows? Live and let live I always say – It’s their right to like what they like too.
I’ve seen some pretty cool poker tattoos over the years and right about now (writing this article) I’m wishing I’d taken pictures of each and every one of them to share them with you. Some a real pieces of art. (lol) A good few are trash. (It happens) Maybe now, that cell phone cameras are shooting better images, I’ll start shooting them from now on when I can.

If you are considering getting a tattoo (Poker or otherwise) put some serious thought into it all .. You are kind of stuck with the results (lol) unless you go the route of serious cosmetic surgery $$$. If you don’t have tattoos – please consider not judging the people having them. (Don’t judge a book by it’s cover) Many are really sweet and nice people who would hold a door for you or offer you a coat when you’re cold. Many are great poker players as well.
Tattoo wearing poker players are just like you and everyone else at the table. We are just a little more colorful is all.

I’d never get a company logo tattoo unless I really loved the image and more importantly that I believed in the company. I’m glad I ran into this design and I’m glad I found Real Deal Poker. Thanks for THIS post. I've not done a calm rant on the subject of FAIR and HONEST online poker in quite some time.

I dunno, the posters of threads like this one might be looking pretty silly in a few weeks... Making statements with little or no information.. To slam something for no reason. (Not knowing a lick about what you are talking about) is just a bad ,bad, manners and dumb thing to do.

I can see this POKER thread on this here poker forum going down in history as being one of most information "lacking" posts of all time! Congrats! Lol.

Now, I'm one to usually keep cool about silly threads on "poker" from non poker players. But with this post - Hmmmmm.

Nothing will change. ;)

Posts made by lurkers and 90% of poker forum members all over the world (Usually kids, still living with mom and dad) are a joke. They always lack quality research. AND.. While I'm ranting.. HEY! Grow a "set" (not trips, "BALLS") and sign your name to mindless uneducated slander like this here.

I've done a few hundred hours of research on Gene Gioia and Real Deal. For over 3 years now... to be exact. I loved what I found so much - that I offered feedback and testing for free for over 2 years. Then I found all my local "live" poker playing friends 75% of which, gave up on ONLINE poker (For various reasons) and ran REAL DEAL by them.. and get this. They all loved Genes Idea.

Plus, After playing live for 20+ years and lifting every rock, asking all the tough questions direct to Gene Gioia.. (And getting solid no BULL SHIT answers) I can say with 100% confidence that Real Deal Poker will be the one of the best online poker sites online. A poker site that was designed from the ground up, with the players in mind. Built by a man and a team of integrity. Built by a man, muck.. (lol - did I say muck?) MUCH, like me.. that get this.. (come close, I'll whisper a trade secret to you) Did it for his love of the game of POKER.

I loved his idea's years AGO and after watching his team meld the idea's into what Real Deal is today - I LOVE IT EVEN MORE today. By a country mile.

Tell you what! My name is Tom Dwyer - I live in Hazleton Pennsylvania and have played more hours of live poker than, hell.. Let's just say I played too much poker. I played all over the U.S/Bahamahs, etc, More than most forum members here I'd guess is possible. Gene Gioia has too - I'm 100% sure of it! (He's got me by a good few years)

The word professional traditionally means a person who has obtained a degree in a professional field. The term professional is used more generally to denote a white collar working person, or a person who performs commercially in a field typically reserved for hobbyists or amateurs.

In sports, a professional is someone who participates for money. The opposite is amateur, meaning a person who does not play for money, but in an academic (e.g. college football) or other private setting. The term “professional” is commonly used incorrectly when referring to sports, as the distinction simply refers to how the athlete is funded, and not necessarily competitions or achievements.

Now that is the definition of the word “professional” from Wikipedia, I would say that you can look at it from other sources, and you will most likely come up with the same thing. So you play poker for money well so do I, can I call myself a poker pro? Some would say yes, but it will depend on how much money a person makes at playing poker. Others would say that you would have to be living off your poker winnings. Some would say that is a debatable question and I would say the same.

I have been playing poker for some time now and have been around the game, I have played with some great pros and some not so great ones. Now let’s say that you have won some big money in a poker tournament. Lets say 75 thousand dollars and you quit your job and started to play poker only. Can you now call yourself a poker Pro? You only play poker and you win on the average of $2,000 a month you pay all of your bills of lets say $1,500 with a $500 a month profit, can you call your self a poker pro? Your mom gave you the money to play in the WSOP, it’s your first time playing and you are the luckiest person in the tournament and go on to win, can you call your self a pro now? Well I guess these would all be great question to find out the answers on, some would say yes, some say no and some would say you are just crazy for asking.

I have been trowing out this question for some time now and here are a few reply’s.

If you make a living at poker. I would say how much do u need to live?

If the money you make at poker is 75% of your income. I would say 75% of what income?

You pay your taxes on all your winning as income.

Well I would be interested in hearing form all of you out there and your input.

Why not take it a bit further, Say you're a poker player that is already worth millions,(Real life) and you plunk down 10K to play in "every poker tourney you can find" - and have some success. Does this make you a Poker Pro?

Marketing. That's my answer. It's great marketing.. (Or Was? It seemed to have stuck)
Take a few thousand people that never wanted to work in the factory, never wanted to work really.. show them poker and give/offer them a title of POKER PRO. Ahhhhhh, you feeling me?
We all need to feel like we are something.
Poker is a bitch.
Is it the same for the hard working 9/5 dude that wins his way into a major tourney only to end up (Playing against the BIG MONEY people all day?) I say no.
NO ONE ever said life was fair.
I might fall for all the pro poker talk if we could just get one minor, teeny weeny thing fixed.
Poker Leagues. I dunno, based on your tax bracket.
I don't know about you - but I don't see too many pro baseball players tearing up the action (crushing kids) on the local little league field.. You get my point?

Many of these (Poker pros) Poker players are making billions "selling poker" or are worth millions themselves (either through hard work or from old money) These poker players are playing the game with a major advantage - (If "they" lose. It's no sweat) Then, they call it a career..? They call themselves a Poker Pro? PAaaleeaase. Please.
I call them spoiled rich kids who love Vegas! (Not that I blame them - Vegas ROCKS!)
If you ask me. We should have the top millionaires duel each other (Let them duke it out with money that means something to them.. Then we have a poker game folks!) If you want to see a real poker game. the money should mean something (mostly loosing it) to all parties playing the game.
Playing poker in a game where the money does not matter is to me, NOT POKER. But I'm a stickler for keeping things REAL. (Most of these lucky bastards would sing a different tune if they played and could LOSE something of major value) - While I'm happy to see ALL players coming from various financial backgrounds in most games; it sure makes life interesting to sit next to Phil Helmuth and Ivey right? I'm just not sure this is really the best game of poker.

These mega rich players have too much of an advantage... I vote Leagues. I vote we NOT allow them to play in certain "buy-ins" levels.. such as - oh.. I dunno - Blue collar - leagues. (I can dream - Let me dream...)
What we have now in our poker world - is a free for all.. All levels of the poker food chain, just thrown into the pit! (This is why LUCK is a major factor - if even slight)
God I love poker.
You show me the poker player that grinded it up from nothing.. and maybe.. I'll call that person a poker pro.
Me.. I call myself a semi pro. (LOL) I'm not one to brag.

So Much with Real Deal Poker going on and all this snow!

Ok, I was really digging this winter.. nice and white and pretty. but come on Mother Nature... Please let up a little. Pennsylvania always gets a few "good blasts" of the white stuff but seems this year is a record breaker by far.
Problem is, it's cutting into my poker time, writing time, photography time, and even my hanky panky time. Point it.. Even I'm really looking forward to spring.
I'll try and snap a picture of all the white stuff later today.. They are coining this one (are you ready for this?) a snow-a-cane... You have to love the media.
Things are progressing with Real Deal Poker, I spoke with Gene Gioia just yesterday, we should be having some exciting info for everyone by March 8-12 or so. It's go time people. Free Real Deal Poker, play money will have to do for the US players it seems, until good old Uncle Sam get's his act together in Washington D.C. http://freerealdealpoker.com

Super Bowl Sunday..

I'm pretty sure God slapped the Super Bowl in there to help all of us get thru the rough winters... Man... It's like a 2nd Christmas for Big Daddy... Especially when your team is in the BIG game. (Colts)

Turns out, I received a huge lump of coal, w/the Saints taking my Colts down... Football is a lot like poker and war.. One bad move.. TURNOVER.. Chips or footballs.. or the flag, It's all the same..

WAR - Little mistakes = BIG PROBLEMS

Congrats to the SAINTS.. They pushed harder.. Well done. Respect.

The PARTY at the ELKS

I've been a part of the Super Bowl party at my beloved Elks lodge for a good 10 years now.. It features a FUN "small steaks poker game" (usually 7 card stud) - 25 cent 50 cent,$1 (4th street) double on the open pair.. Pots - anywhere from 10 - 40 bucks on average, Many guys playing $2/$6 bucks on 6th and 7th streets.. (Basically, A dream game) Being an OLD SOUL - I like playing in the OLD buildings with 110 year old (still working) grandfather clocks... and of course.. Large stuffed ELKS on the walls..

I'd play this gem of a game for 24 hours - but these games usually break by game time..(kick off)

WITH THE COLTS playing this year - I was cool with all this.. not a problem.

I call it the $1 SLOT machine poker game.. These boys (who I love to death) just keep plunking the $1's in.. and praying.. Chasing even when they are beat on 5th street.. (Drawing dead) Out of 9 players, maybe 1/2 others actually PLAY POKER. *Some of the SUPER oldtimers really know the game of Stud - playing 50 years or so will do that to you...

You're not going to retire on a poker game like this - and of course WHEN the SLOT like POKER PLAYERS CATCH you all day, you're finished... Usually, though... if you play good starting hands, TAG style poker.. Ur good for the most part. It's LIKE they LOVE losing more than winning.. (hell.. they just like PLAYING!)

Yesterday - I bought in for $30, cashed out up $40 after buying $34 dollars worth of various FOOTBALL pools @ $2, $5 and $10 each... (so I banked $74)

I bought "4" meal tickets - PRIME RIB for my family (They run this day at COST) $15 each... and brought the meals home at halftime.. to spend the 2nd half of game with my girls ($60)

I "HIT" on of the $5 pools (FINAL SCORE) for $64.. and the day ended up being FREE. This in my book, is a WIN WIN..

The days food is quite good, Two SALADS, Soups, JUMBO SHRIMP, Prime RIB with all the fix-ins, Chips and all that junk too.. (Ice Cream) 6 brands of FREE BEER and free SODA.

Then at HALF TIME - they roll out "4" of these bad boys.. 6' HOAGIES on some of the best fresh baked bread ever.

I try to stay away from this game.. it's not the BIG ACTION I usually like.. but it sure is fun.. It's got to be the fantastic Prime Rib dinner u get for $15... The ladies and gents at the Elks are great in the kitchen... Home cooked meals at their best. Just like Ur MOMMA makes..

Too bad for my COLTS.. Oh well.. We always have next year..

***I'm a past president of the Elks Lodge #200 and I'm always trying to get new members for GRAND LODGE.. The Elks are all about DOING GOOD... (God and Country) - We take care of our VETERANS.. (God bless em all!!!) If you are ever near an Elks lodge - go in sometime and say HI, ask about joining..BECOME AN ELK yourself.. A good time to stop by would be during one of the many DINNERS they run (usually open to the public) Trust BIG DADDY - You will meet many LIFE TIME friends..

Poker Charity - Some poker players have HUGE hearts! A positive poker story by Big Daddy.

I've been going to this local "fundraiser poker tourney" for over 6/8 years now.. It's always held the week before the Superbowl and it always draws a nice crowd.  The group is called Helping Hands out in Hazleton, Pa. They raise money for children with special needs. Helping Hands does a lot of GOOD. I can't even tell yo how much money they raised over the years... Let's just say.. Tons.

Big Daddy seems to never catch a break at these local tourney's.. TAG does not work.. LAG - nope.   I tried it all.. I'll tell you what though.. If I ever WIN the Helping Hands event - I'll donate all winnings but $200.00 to the kids. That you can BANK on.. (?$200.00 - Gotta keep that poker Roll "live" and always ready for action)..

Don't hold your breath for the Big Daddy donation.. "IF it happens - everyone will at least know my plan to make a donation..."  This past Sundays game was a JUST ANOTHER - good example of my mix of bad luck and (& "rare", "deadly" miss reads on players) - I raised pre-flop with QQ, got called by "A10 off.." BET it.. (hard) and got called.. Player hit his TWO PAIR on turn (and I seen his tell.. but read it wrong) by hitting A and then smacked me with another 10 on river.. Usually I read people - but the player (Also named Tom) played me just right.. (Gotta keep that Roll going).. "always go with your gut people..." It's the MOVE!

This article is not about me.. I just wanted to add some POKER action to this article..  NO. This article is about a fantastic man out of all places.. (lol) New York.."Big Daddy was born in Brooklyn" - (He's One of the older guys... "pay attention young ones")

I figured someone needed to get this story out there... (& Why not me) I write this for the "good of POKER" and for the many large heart poker layers out there...To put a spot light on the NICE guys.. and gals that play this great game.

His name is John Cherill (Think I go the spelling right) out of  Corning, NY. (Here is a Picture of John in event - Final table action)

John has been driving to Hazleton, Pa for a good 5/6 years now to play in this charity event, while in town he visits friends and family. John only placed in ONE event before his TOP 3 win held this past Sunday at the Hazleton Knights of Columbus.. The ONLY one he placed in the $ before??..Get this.. "His first year... John Boy was so.. due.."

After about 7 1/2 hours - the four remaining players talked about making a chop.. This went on for quite some time and you could tell the men were taxed... (Young players seemed more tired, maybe due to late night parties the night before) The players (Final 4) decided to try and get the chip deprived 4th position player OUT of the action.. Which was proving hard to do, until the blind increase.. (somewhere around (4K - 8K range)

I played with this 4th position player many times in our back room "pot limit" poker game. "Tom Brennen" ALWAYS runs deep in these NL events.. He's a wild card.. WINS big - Loses BIG.. hes been playing poker since the 50's/60's He's a scrapper.. out of McAdoo Pa. Let's just say he's KING at putting the hurt on you if/when he catches.. He has some chops. (Here he is in the KINGS chair.."see picture below" He's a pisser this one.. He just about ALWAYS has one of my on-line poker website "t-shirts on.." I love him, such a character..) *I'll have more on Tom Brennen in future.. (For Adults only) LOL.

So - the players get TOM out - and eventually make a chop.. With the Chip leader getting $1250.00 and the other two getting $825.00 or so..

This is the good part of this story.... Our pal John Cherill, he donated $600 of his $825.00 Winnings TO THE KIDS with special Needs.. "Helping Hands"

BAM! John Cherill. Big Daddy and XFilespoker.com & goPApoker.com salute you sir. I've seen many times when poker players step up and have a big heart.. Kudos to you and to HELPING HANDS of Hazleton, Pennsylvania... Love it!

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell has signed a bill legalizing table games at the state's slots casinos.

The governor signed the bill in private Thursday, saying he had mixed feelings about it, then talked about it to reporters at a news conference.

The new law is designed to generate millions in license fees to close a gap in the current year's budget, and produce revenues for state and local governments in future years.

Table games include poker, blackjack and roulette.

Regulators say it'll be at least six months before table games are up and running.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania's slots casinos hit the jackpot Wednesday when the Legislature gave them the authority to install table games such as poker and blackjack.

A 103-89 House vote sent the bill to Gov. Ed Rendell, whose staff said he would sign it, likely on Thursday.

Larger casinos will be allowed 250 tables for the new games, while the smaller resorts casinos can have 50. State gambling regulators said it may be more than six months before table games are up and running.

Along with poker and blackjack, games such as craps, baccarat and roulette are permitted under the new law.

Rendell and lawmakers turned to table games for revenue to help settle last year's protracted budget stalemate, but even after the 101-day impasse ended in October, the gambling details had remained unresolved.

The extra money will help pay the state's bills as the recession continues to ravage its tax collections.

"We should be proud of this legislation and the jobs and economic development and budget resolution that it provides," said state Rep. Dante Santoni, D-Berks, who shepherded the bill through the House.

January 06, 2010 HARRISBURG (AP) - Pennsylvania's slots casinos hit the jackpot Wednesday when the Legislature gave them the authority to install table games such as poker and blackjack.

A 103-89 House vote sent the bill to Gov. Ed Rendell, whose staff said he would sign it, likely on Thursday.

-Types of games: blackjack, poker, craps, baccarat, roulette and others.

-Number of tables: 250 for larger casinos, 50 for resort casinos.

-Open for business: six to nine months.

-Third resort casino license: available in 2017.

-Taxes: 16 percent in first year, dropping to 14 percent at end of second year.

-New ethics rules: for employees of casinos and the Gaming Control Board.

Larger casinos will be allowed 250 tables for the new games, while the smaller resorts casinos can have 50. State gambling regulators said it may be more than six months before table games are up and running.

Along with poker and blackjack, games such as craps, baccarat and roulette are permitted under the new law.

Rendell and lawmakers turned to table games for revenue to help settle last year's protracted budget stalemate, but even after the 101-day impasse ended in October, the gambling details had remained unresolved.

The extra money will help pay the state's bills as the recession continues to ravage its tax collections.

"We should be proud of this legislation and the jobs and economic development and budget resolution that it provides," said state Rep. Dante Santoni, D-Berks, who shepherded the bill through the House.

The bill had much more support among Democrats than Republicans. In the House, which is fairly evenly divided along partisan lines, only 12 Republicans voted for it and just 10 Democrats voted no.

Critics called the expansion of the 5-year-old slots gambling law fatally flawed and said that bolstered ethics rules for casino and Gaming Control Board employees were insufficient. They also said the bill should not have earmarked funding for certain pet projects.

"Just because particular interests (have) a sugar daddy or sugar mommy who happens to have a casino in their district, they will now get funding, into perpetuity by the way, not to be reviewed by the General Assembly each and every year," said Rep. Curt Schroder, R-Chester, who voted against it.

The bill's passage averted the layoffs of nearly 1,000 state workers that Rendell had threatened.

The bill authorized a third resort casino license in 2017.

Table games will be taxed at 16 percent of gross revenue, with 2 percentage points going to local counties and municipalities. At the end of the second year, the gross tax rate will drop to 14 percent.

Larger casinos will have to pay a $16.5 million licensing fee, but resort casinos will only be charged $7.5 million. The amount of those fees will increase after June 1.

Rep. Paul Clymer, R-Bucks, a leading gambling opponent, said the fees were far too small. He was one of several who argued that the licenses should have gone to the highest bidders.

"Nothing like corporate welfare to fatten the wallets of those who already have secured great benefits through this casino gambling law," Clymer said.

The Gaming Control Board immediately issued a statement saying draft regulations are in the works and that it will have to vet thousands of new employees expected to be hired.

Kevin O'Toole, the board's executive director, said it was probable that all nine currently operating Pennsylvania casinos will petition for the right to have table games.

"Just common sense would indicate that from a competitive standpoint they will feel the need to offer table games to their customers," O'Toole said.

Also Wednesday, Mason-Dixon Resort & Casino announced it would apply for a resort casino license to be located near the Maryland line just south of Gettysburg.

POKER "You know - You never know you know.."

Poker - I tell my players; "Poker...it's the devil." Because at times POKER "IS" the DEVIL. It's the BEST way to explain HOW this great game can be at times.

Poker, for some, can be like a caged animal that needs to be held on a

very short leash. This is the REASON for this poker-blog today.

Poker is super fun to poke around with in the beginning (small stakes) - but sadly, is a BEAST that can snap your neck quicker than a dry twig in the woods. Poker MUST be contained. Controlled. Balance. In poker and life.

What am I talking about? (Big Daddy - Please Explain)

Over the years of watching all too many poker players, A whole lot of players.. from both back room games as well as the regulars in Atlantic City and Vegas etc.. I've seen it all.. (well.. not all POKER is like that, 90% for sure) From close friends wasting pay checks week after week - to players playing who should never have even taken that first seat, having serious life issues or conditions

(mental health wise) that had them CONSTANTLY on the edge of the bridge... ready to jump.

One of my close poker friends Jimmy D actually called me from the hospital not once

but "TWICE," Jimmy lost it all! Family, great Job, everything. Hell - He had it all going for him too - Not something I'd wish on anyone. So sad. Jimmy was only 30, 31 I believe... When he started his mega loss. (Not sure where Jimmy is today - He just drifted away) Jimmy, if you are out there.. I hope you turned it around buddy.

Not all of the devilish details from the dark side of the game are as bad as Jimmy's.. Let's just say the truth, that players not keeping their action in check will be hurting a lot of people. I've had calls from wives.. girlfriends/boyfriends and parents.. OTHER PLAYERS..

YOU CAN SEE WHY the media stays away from such topics - it's not going to help the bottom line. Not going to make poker so easy to fall in love with for the newbies watching ESPN and NBC.

Big Daddy will give it to you straight. I'm not a BOTTOM line (only) kind of guy.. If it's not good for my players (I warn them) If it is good (I share with them) In other words.. PLAYERS! If the

fire is too hot in the kitchen.. I'll suggest you stay out of the kitchen... If you are bothered or stressed by the high heat anyways..

Here is the thing, poker is super fun at the beginning - players get the bite, ("OMG! - Poker is so much FUN!") at this point of the action the infection starts, and all is still going WELL, ALL is STILL fine. ("OMG! I'm having even more FUN! This game never gets boring especially when you really start to study it's finer components") You can run fine for years without a hitch. Then BOOM! The next lever of poker sneaks up on you... Then the next, and so on.

Many of you know what I'm talking about - You know a friend or family member that can't stop.. They can't stop going for the next big win, even if it means losing their last chip. Some will blow their gas and toll money for the trip home. These players need action and FOR some - The only good move is to QUIT poker all together. (Easier said then done - I'm sure.)

As I always say, Poker is a great hobby (for most of us) that pays you back at times (Sometimes, in those "special games" - PAYS US LOTS!) But, try to keep your game in check at all times. Play smart, not hard.

The trick as Big Daddy sees it... Is keeping this super charged "vehicle of fun" under control at all times... Poker is a game that starts out like a mini-bike, but can end up a high speed rocket ship.. Faster for some.. never for others. We can all drive cars right? (Well most can) but you won't see Big Daddy running a top fuel dragster any time soon.

I played football like a madman when I was a child - running around ANY field and in any back alley or lot - getting creamed by all the local kids and.. LOVING IT I might add.. However,you won't see strap on a helmet and stand on the front line of an NFL pro

football team.. I'd get myself killed.

Poker is a double edged sword.. One side - super sharp fun. The other - Super sharp PAIN. (For you and sadly everyone who knows you. Your loved ones should not be put through hell for a card game folks) Think of these people in your life FIRST "before the action" - and do your best to make smart choices. KEEP POKER FUN! Balance.

Now.. I'm a lover of poker since 1991. I've been around my share of action. I'm not here to ruin any ones fun here, "really I'm not!" Actually - this is an attempt to save some of you players. From horrors you might not see coming. (Sad things I've seen too many times) I'd guess some never knew these traps were out there in the first place. A small number of you.. I'm just going to flat out suggest that you NOT play poker.. Just STOP. Stop any gambling games of chance for that matter - like Black Jack or craps. People who have a problem setting limits - need to avoid these sometimes high octane games.

Poker - starts out small and stays small for 90% of the players - problem is, Some rounders choose to go right after the bigger stacks, the big money games (many with little or much skill) jumping up in class as soon as their wallet allows. You know the type.. Action junkies who always press the bets - go for the long-shot.. go for the GOLD..Chase that old man river card. They might even HIT BIG for the short term - which will only have them yearning for more... More what?

Action!

These are the players we need to pray for. These are the players Big Daddy is trying to help.

Bigger question might be - Can these players be helped? (I dunno for sure - I'm Big Daddy, not a Dr.)

Poker is a gamble that gives you a pretty major edge over any others players that are clueless. With poker WE are not playing the house. (except w/low limit poker's rake.. Hard to beat that) The problem is... Poker adds all sorts of variables that the other games of chance do not. Sorta like WAR. Desperate times = desperate measures... (Yep. At the poker game too)

You might get in an iffy hand and have to super aggressive players lobbing grenades at the pot. Poker is hand to hand combat. Man/woman vs. or Vs. many men/women.. (Some of them nuts, BONKO about action)

Poker is a people game. (Play the PLAYER!!!) Player vs. player - "NOT" player Vs.HOUSE. (Casino) As you climb the buy in ladder - the stress meter goes thru the roof.. until you figure it out. (some never figure it out..More for some than others) The larger, higher stakes games have many super

skilled players - bank on it.

Kids living with parents have outs.. (How many thousands of 15-20 year old's are looking to be the next Cada?) It's OK for them to JUMP I guess.. They have a soft landing and a place to fall back on. (Mom and Dad) People who have family depending on them might be a different story - These poker players do not always have such a cushion. **It's not always possible to go to friends and family for a hand out if you're donking off you pay check in poker games** My advice; DO NOT ever put your

poker game before family, health, mortgage and the electric bill, etc..(If you do.. Remember I told you not to do it.. I stopped saying I told you so's long ago) Seen too many poker players crash and burn. I'm burnt out from seeing it. I usually just listen to their poker story and try and get them to see - Things can always get better.

OK - Where to begin.

Small ball poker seems about right. 2/4 limit, 3/6, 4/8. Low limit Stud, etc are Super fun to play. Low buy-ins and hours of action - Even on the worst days many of us can just equate our poker sessions to an afternoon or evening of great entertainment.. These games are much cheaper than many of the "regular activities" people choose to take part in. (Like say, a day skiing or maybe playing golf.. Hell, a Day at the Movies..WHY DO MOVIES COST SO MUCH???) Even if we lose.. Many times we STILL WIN... especially when it comes to friendship and just plain getting out of the house or a day away from the grind.

Anything larger, poker buy in wise - Well, I can only speak of 1/2 NL and 1/3 Pot limit. If you are an average income earner or even if you are doing a little better than average - these limits can cost you big. Don't be fooled by the players coming from mega-rich families (Trust fund babies) or people that are worth millions. The games are not the same for such people. It's the NEVER play poker with scared money line. BE CAREFUL!

This past week sure was busy for Big Daddy!
New links and events added to the site XFilespoker.com - (From here on in, known as "XFP")
This week I re-learned something. (Something Major)
Moss does not grow on a rolling stone.... We have to keep ourselves moving.
I "feel so alive..." LOL. It may sound silly but just like MATT DAMON'S line in the poker movie ROUNDERS. (It's true) I have to be ME. I just plain love poker, I just love MEETING & READING PEOPLE. I'm not sure I'll ever know why I LOVE poker and POKER PLAYERS so much.. Guess poker is in my blood. Guess I'm a goner.
This week, Joe Navarro - The Nonverbal Expert gave XFP his blessings on a special forum on "Poker TELLS." Joe is famous to all us rounders due to his connection with the poker brat himself Phil Hellmuth. His sharing of information is fantastic.. I hope all reading this blog will buy his books! (He's a good man with much to offer to your poker game)
This alone, (Meeting Joe on-line) would have made me happy. but no no.. so much more was in store for me. Thank you Mr. Navarro.

I love lines like the title of this blog. (Andrew Jackson I respect) I have these words of Mr. Jackson's, framed and hanging on the walls of my living room. The man running the event today (The event I'm about to share with all of you) made me think of how much I love this framed message from many years ago.

Today (Hazleton, PA) - I took part in a friendly protest against illegal aliens in the United States. It was a very small crowd. It had many supporters BEEPING horns and waving hands - as well as a few snickers and hard looks towards the protesters. (It's America - and while I can do this sorta thing.. I'm doing it. We never want to lose this valuable right we all have. Its how I see it anyways.) It's not my first time at such events. I wish we had more of them.

At the gathering, (Hard to call it a rally really with 9 people - hmm they did have mega phones x 2 however) I ran into a researcher from the University of Liverpool - It was a super cool afternoon for me... It was like I was transported to a street in London as I stood there in front of my cites CITY HALL.  I had to stay too - I couldn't let them (mostly kids) stand alone. I respect people who have the guts to take a side... (Like Dan and Ruth - More on them to come)

Greig Campbell, MA (Researcher) my new bloke from London told me in one of our conversations.. something close to this.. "AMERICANS know their history.." and from what he told me.. The mans done his homework on American history, especially in the Hazleton Pa area. (I agree with Greig here) Americans DO KNOW THEIR HISTORY.. We just need more Americans to wake up and get their heads out of the sand... before all our cities get turned upside down.

You see.. Hazleton Pa, if you go back about 10 years - never had gunfire in the streets.. (It was once every ten years that GUNFIRE made a news story here) Now, after the rush of people coming in.. - it's almost an everyday event. Legal or not legal - The people doing all the shooting need to be run out of town on rail - In other words..They can go back the hell where they come from.

I told you people I love Ted Nugent.

I also ran into a nice lady named Ruth who, turned out.. drove a good while to be a part of this peace-full protest. I took a picture of her as we stood in the fog and rain. I'll add it to the end of this post.

Let me go on the record. I love all people everywhere - HELL I play poker!!! Poker is the biggest MELTING POT ever. I just happen to LOVE the LAW OF MY LAND and I LOVE the UNITED STATES of AMERICA more!! I'm very tired of all the Spanish speaking going on in public... all the big business selling us out. If you love America??. LOVE AND RESPECT AMERICA by speaking English. RESPECT.

If you are an ASSHOLE - I don't care what color or race you are. YOU'RE just an ASSHOLE.

I'd like our leaders and citizens to Love and respect AMERICA by keeping AMERICANS working.. By not shipping jobs overseas.. by CLOSING the boarders (Who leaves the door wide open after an event like 9/11? That's right - NO ONE! Unless you are AMERICA) It's clear to me - many in Washington DC - sold themselves and us OUT long ago. It's harder for them to hide this simple facts as we enter the insane world of TAX AND SPEND (Spending money we don't have - Our KIDS MONEY.) ALL THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE... and FAST.

The event in Hazleton today was promoted or "sold" in the local NEWSPAPER (Today mind you - Thanks for the heads-up Standard Speaker) as a TEA PARTY event (Maybe this event was reported to make the Tea party look bad as Dan's groups are much smaller "Usually" - He's had some big ones too) - The event today is actually an event from the www.voiceofthepeopleusa.com - Here is a YOU-tube of Dan working. He's a good younger man with a lot of passion.    Dan does not do it for money. (He said he takes no money) NO WONDER HIS EVENTS ARE SMALL.. You must advertise! Hell the kids today are not even on TWITTER!???

Being a great American, with balls, I stood with Dan and a few others in the rain, even though I thought I was going to a TEA PARTY event. (I'm not clear on the Tea Party and I wanted to 'see and hear" things for myself) I respect people who speak their mind... Dan's a good American. I might not agree with everything Dan says (Truth is I don't know everything about DAN) - As to his message on illegals in the USA - I'm 101% behind him.

In America. - We already have good laws of the land. It's a kick in the teeth to all citizens who live everyday following the laws... Also the people who worked hard to get to America the legal route.

PEOPLE are not ASSIMILATING.. (My gut tells me they don't want to and never will..) WAKE UP AMERICA! They can stay - but they got to STAND by the RED WHITE AND BLUE.

I spoke for a good while with Dan - He worked the clean-up from the towers in NYC. He lost a few family members on that horrible day as well.. You can see it in his face - how upsetting all of it is to him. Since 2001 - He's been standing up and speaking against illegals to anyone that will listen. One or thousands..

Today's event in Hazleton, Pennsylvania was very small... but hey.. They were out there and you have to respect that.

I've been looking for quality pictures of our breaker (which burned down in the 70's or 80's can't remember) for years now.

He also suggested a book by Susan Campbell Bartoletti - (Growing up in Coal Country) She is a Sibert Medal-Winning Author of BLACK POTATOES.

Greig Campbell - is currently writing a book. Keep an eye out for him.. He's a smart cookie.

XFilespoker Twitter poker games - Our poker forum and a great American named Joe. (US NAVY)

Full Tilt and the Navy.
Today on FULL TILT POKER I played quite a few small limit games (tourneys) and had a mix of hard luck and one cash (3rd place - 90 player knockout game) For my forum members who know my style play.. I'll show a picture (BELOW)of the final 3 players.. I'm "Bigtime loser" - (Note- I go in with the best and I'm out like the rest!)
Today we posted on the forum that TODAY November 14, 2009 X-FILES-POKER will be starting PRIVATE (password protected) games for our forum members as well as our pals on TWITTER (@xfilespoker) The games will run on FULL TILT POKER EVERY DAY @ 9pm est. There will also be other poker games at various times of the day, as needed - Weekend games too.. Games will be LIMIT , NL and STUD and H.O.R.S.E. for now. (Suggestions can be made in forum.. We will do what we can to get it right)
I'll be playing in as many "BUT NOT ALL" of these games as possible (During winter months) with a focus on a special run game called "Tuesdays with Tom on Full Tilt.." The games above will be $1.50 and $2.50 and the Tuesday game will be a $5.50 buy in game

Earlier on our xfilespoker forum XFILESPOKER FORUM SIGN UP  A new member (&Great American) named Joe (US NAVY) came on and posted about his idea's on how on-line poker "might" be rigged.  I thought it was odd that he DID THIS in his 2nd post and he later mentioned it was the sites statement of allowing an open talk on the subject (poker being rigged or not) as to why he logged on & signed up. Joe found us on TWITTER.
FYI - Xfilespoker does not say on-line poker IS or IS NOT rigged - We welcome any and all question's and idea's on the subject.

"I just dropped this one on your forum for possible on-line rigged play. Enjoy.
"I believe and this is just my personal experience, look first if they are in the leader board, if they are and you hold QQ or higher, see the flop as cheaply as possible, if you do and the flop misses your hand entirely and he shoves all in, the A$$hole has some sort of RNG or works for the site to collect winnings for the site (maybe, just saying, its obviously not the truth just speculation). Also, I try and avoid any hands that guy is in for the rest of the tourney. Pay closer attention to how people on your table (especially deeper in the game) and also pay attention to the leaders that just blast through the first few hands of the tourney and make notes on just how fast they are winning to keep in mind who you need to avoid. If the player that is winning is playing correct and calls normal hands and doesn't win with junk (Q-4 o/s and trips his 4's) then it maybe safe to tangle with, if not, fold and wait. These tactics have helped me place deeper in the tourney. Let them cheaters beat the piss out of the other players deep. You just keep climbing the ladder until you get cut. I know that is like laying down and taking it but if you are a glutton for punishment and like playing against either
1. Really, really good players
2. Really Really lucky players
3. Really really cheating players
4. Or just plain psycho loose donkeys
then that is your punishment. Happy hunting!!"

The reason I show this post from the forum is to let readers know that we are talking about this subject in our forum often and we welcome both sides to the debate. Say what you like.
I myself lean to the fact that on-line is "not right" - but it's just my thinking and it's based on GUT more than stats or data.. My guts are good enough for me. I trust my gut.
The forum is picking up nice and I expect that many will return for the winter. We have a lot of good players in our forum..
Let's see.. We started the PAL TALK service as well - For use during Tom's classes/Forum poker games. If you need PAL TALK - It's a free download and can be found here - DOWNLOAD PALTALK HERE - Once downloaded - Search for "XfilespokerTwitterGames" (on word - no spaces) This is my account.
What else.. Hmm Well - Big news hit the WSOP and poker world as Jeffrey Pollack resigned As Harrah's WSOP Commissioner - I've not read into the topic but I think he was quoted as saying he was.. leaving to "'explore new business challenges." Sounds to me like he was let go in a nice way.
Maybe Harrah's wants to make a break with the old guard and usher in a whole new crew/plan for 2010. Hell even FT poker hired "Tom Duuur Dwan" - My guess to appeal to the 15-20 years olds that will soon be flocking to the the live tables in the coming years. (I'll have a good blog on my thoughts of all the young guns in poker coming very soon)
My thoughts on Pollack and WSOP - I think many mistakes were made and too many complaints came pouring in from players and fans in the last few years - My big gripe was with the live audio coverage of this years WSOP - Bluff Magazine's coverage went from VERY GOOD to REALLY bad - It was great with Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth, etc.. and very bad with what I'll call the KIDS.. (I don't know their names - never heard of most of them) Their take (When Annie and Phil left the air) sounded like 7th grader material and was many times crude and well, Rude..  The W.S.O.P is a BIG production and it the biggest event in all of poker - happens only once a year - It needs to be more polished and professional period. (A piss pore job makes poker players, poker itself, HARRAH'S and WSOP look bad in my eyes) POKER WILL GET SO MUCH BIGGER IF THE RIGHT MOVES ARE MADE. HARRAH'S need to have much better oversight on such things in 2010 and beyond.. (I'm available for the right price.. wink wink.) There were of course other big complaints as well.. such as not having enough poker tables/dealers - Players turned away.. FOOD QUALITY.. etc.. Do a search WSOP + BAD - I'm sure there are more.
I met Mr. Pollack and good number of times at the wsop (He's not a close friend) He's always been very nice. Given the task and the insane growth of poker since 2003 - I'd say he did a good job overall.. It's time to move on - try something new. I'm excited to see what goes down next.

Look, I'm in Pennsylvania this year.. I'm no where near Las Vegas or the 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) and yet.. I'm feeling CLOSER to this years event than ever before.

One reason. Darvin Moon.

Here is the GUY I have to push for.. For his cool name (Cool names always win pokers BIG ONE) For the fact that he's a regular dude.. worker bee kinda player. He's OLD SCHOOL.

It's Moon vs. Cada in the 2009 WSOP! Wooot! Let's get it on!

Not to take away from Joe Cada, he's one great player to get this deep in a field of poker players so huge and so talented. (He's also very lucky! He won races with small and medium pocket pairs.. as well as AK) My point is.. Mr. Cada is young. He has the rest of his life to go for the poker gold. (I'll write a blog on Mr Cada as well.. as soon as it comes to me)

For now though, enough of Mr. Cada.. Let this 40 something poker playing (poor writing) rounder since 1991.. soak all this in and enjoy all this years poker action. This blog is for my new pal Mr. Moon.

Now - To get this blog straight and to keep things honest - Mr Moon has had his share of "what the hell" poker moves during the final table "November nine hands" that were played out at the Rio Hotel and Casino. Strange moves like NOT CALLING a huge pot.. when a player could call with one of the cards BLANK, lol.. (Due to the pot size,position and amount to call)

Then there was an odd move calling an after flop all in with A4 (having nothing on the flop, bad draws and scare cards galore) He should have considered SET? TWO PAIR.. Nope - HE CALLED WITH NADA! It's hard to understand this huge miss step from Mr Moon.. We can GUESS he THOUGHT he was holding AA (It happens) or that the player, again, plain missed all together (but an ALL IN in this GAME?)... It's a major stretch. I joked that it might have been one of the BEST"Advertising moves of bad poker play EVER!" - Sure.. He lost a few chips.. But NOW look at the players scratching their heads.. (ALL OVER THE WORLD) In the end.. Most of us will agree.. The move sure did suck.

Even still.. The man named Moon was patient all summer- and made it to the November nine.. plus, hell - "People everywhere and pros "like him." (I think I read he never once had 1 ALL IN move to get to the November Nine)

I could go on and on about poker and Mr. Moon - I'm sure we all have a lot to learn about this WSOP MAIN EVENT "heads-up" poker playing Moon man.

Here are just a few of the reasons why I like this guy..that stuck out (to me)

* He's a WORKER. (A mans man) He is not a college drop out chasing the poker dream or a son of people with mega means..

*Moon is a logger.. C'mon. A logger to a WSOP bracelet winner?? JAMES DEAN COOL! Anyone who reads my blog for a few years knows I cut trees for exercise - hobby.. and for heating my compound.. not to mention to get OUTSIDE in the deep woods... Teach my 6 year old about working hard. (**Away from everyday life.. the wild) **Try it sometime it's awesome!

*Phil Hellmuth reported on Bluff Magazine radio that Moon (Up to the heads up action at least) had refused offers of up to 500,000.00 to wear on-line poker sites gear. caps, patches - etc.. He said something to the effect of... "He did not want to promote things he knew little about and he did not want to be owing anyone anything.. He just wanted to play poker." Man has some Integrity.

*He was helping Fire fighters raise money via poker tournaments when he won his seat.. (He had choice of CASH or 10K buy in) With his brothers pushing - He took the 10K buy in. Yeppers - More cool.

*He's buying his father a Pink Cadillac.. (This story alone sucks me in to this man's poker life/story)
Do I need to go one here?

POKER PRO Phil Ivey BUSTS OUT EARLY - Earlier than expected... WORLD SERIES OF POKER TALK & FREE ROLL INFO

OK all poker fans! - We posted the WELCOME BACK free roll info in the Xfilespoker.com calendar. (see link to calendar on Xfilespoker CALENDAR ) This free roll is for ALL forum members.
Fun time last night with forum members on Twitter (@xfilespoker) talking poker! Ivey busted as I predicted.. a little earlier than expected.

I got crushed playing LOW LIMIT NL poker on FULL TILT POKER - I'll blame it on keeping up with Phil Ivey.

We all left the poker/twitter action about 4am -and woke to insane news that it will be CADA (almost to the felt last night) vs. Moon! HEADS UP poker!
We here at Xfilespoker.com must support MOON - It would be UN-alien not to. (lol) Think of all the MARKETING the poker world could push to death.. "To the MOON Alice! I'm playing POKER!"
We seen some silly cards from MOON and some super aggressive and LUCKY play from CADA.. This heads up poker match should be neat to watch..
I give them both credit - Hell - They are sitting there and we are watching! I like that MOON did not sell out to the POKER machine that IS the "current monster on-line poker companies." He passed on a sure 500,000.00 per Phil Hellmuth's radio visit on bluff magazines audio cast. To me.. that is very cool.
All the kool-aide drinking poker fans will have to wait another few lifetimes to see Ivey at that final table - as more and more players are figuring this NL poker game out. I hate to keep peeing on everyones parade - but I don't see it happening. He is HUMAN after all.. Winning bracelets 5+ years ago vs. today is a much tougher task to pull off. With that said - No doubt he's a master of the game.

I wish I was there! Maybe in 2010!

Frustrated fans of poker WSOP 2009 the NOVEMBER NINE - If it's a LIVE tv event - I sure can't find it..

I'm on Twitter (xfilespoker) and all over the web today pulling what little bit of hair I have left, OUT! I'm searching for information on today's big WSOP final table. (November Nine) I could swear I read somewhere a while back that said today's event was going to be broadcast "live." The World Series of Poker (main event) is the biggest game of the year for poker fans.

This years event finally gives us MAJOR poker ACTION with a major TV poker PRO - He's short stacked against some really good players. (Players that had months of rest and time to READ UP and study their foes) He does not need any introduction in this blog "for anyone following pro poker." (For any poker newbies.. His name is IVEY)

ESPN needs to drop back and punt when it comes to covering these events. I'm scanning my TV guide on DIRECTV and nothing lists until 11pm tonight? What the hell kind of LIVE action is this? If this event is happening live and we are all missing it somehow - It's all the fault of the POWERS THAT BE at this years World Series.  Shame on you guys.

HARRAH'S / Rio in Las Vegas has had many years to work out the bugs with these events and yet - every year they drop the ball. This year - sending players AWAY (not enough tables/dealers) I dunno.. Time to hire some new people to run things. Is this event on TV live? DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW?

Phil Ivey and some other guys are playing in the BIGGEST poker game of their life - plus, most poker nuts LOVE Ivey. DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG THIS DAY IS TO POKER ESPN/RIO? If Ivey's able to pull this off and SNAG the win - It's huge for HIM/POKER/RIO/ESPN & the other 8 felt masters. (I'm a fan of Ivey but I put him out 4th or 5th due to the fact that players today's are a smarter bunch)  Let me say it agina..This is huge for the RIO.. (HARRAH'S) It's huge for ESPN! It's huge for "ME" and countless other poker fans, and the players that are new to poker. Some of us have been in poker since JESUS won the main event... (Jesus - that's a long time ago folks) How can all of the BIG SHOTS mess this UP? Talk about DONKEYS. (send me an e-mail and explain please)

How are we ever going to get to the day when PEPSI pays me (whoops I mean US) to play poker on live television if all the REAL POKER fans can't even find the coverage for this, the biggest event in all of poker. (I want to break something! Someone give me something to snap)

My blog today is due to FRUSTRATION.. I'm frustrated.. My pals that watch poker are Frustrated. My dog Zowie - "The famous poker playing Doberman Pincher" is freaking frustrated. We wait all year for the FINAL TABLE of the WORLD SERIES OF POKER and you can't find out if it's LIVE or NOT (when it's on TV?).... Fans should be able to KNOW (yes or no) if there is coverage of **ANY** WSOP final table event within 2 CLICKS of a mouse.. Internet searches. (look into them WSOP)

Such a BIG deal is made of the NOVEMBER NINE.. and what happens.. they leave us hanging. This is enough to make even the most seasoned poker pro TILT.

I'm glad I'm still a year or two away from playing in the series and making the final table..or I'd be ripping all the people on national television for a job NOT WELL DONE. I would not want to do it - but cm-on.. Someone needs a kick in the ass. THIS IS TOO BIG A GAME.

All eyes want to be on Phil Ivey today as well as the other 8 skilled/lucky rounders. Lives are going to change today.. (Poker fans want to see it) Somebody playing in this years NOVEMBER NINE event is going to DISNEY LAND for crying out loud.. "for PLAYING POKER." THEY GET THAT BRACELET!!! Playing a game they/we ALL LOVE.

The WINNER of this event will go from WHO'S DAT? to ROCK STAR and we can't find it anywhere on the web. Anywhere on our DIRECTV. Ivey even made it on the cover of ESPN magazine this year for crying out loud. That's it - I'm calling VEGAS. Get Vegas on the line.

The main man in this event has PRIVATE JETS! (cough.. Maybe) We can't SELL THAT VEGAS?

8:51am - Just back from taking my little girl to school - what a crisp and sunny fall morning in the Poconos. Love it!

I just wanted to thank the members of our friendly poker forum - http://www.xfilespoker.net/phpbb for coming back after a long summer break. I'm working hard to make the site more and more fun each day - and promise BIG changes for the better are on the way. I'm in study HOURS a day and have found a new teacher that has me reading and reading.

I'm trying to network with poker players with integrity - players who LOVE and RESPECT the game. If you know any? - Can you get them on board... It's an OPEN forum that asks ANY and ALL topics poker and gambling.

In the coming months you can expect free rolls as the budget allows - as well as new games such as our NEW "HEADS UP" challenge - $2 games on Full Tilt. Working on building the brackets this month. Today's poker topic kiddies is..

The dreaded "RNG" & a little thing called a  "Quantum Photon Shuffler"

This Sunday morning..  I was reading my ALL IN poker mag with the sun shining in the window.. doing not much really, scanning my face-book, twitter (Xfilespoker) while doing my normal sunday thing.. slamming down my 2nd big gulp coffee. Then I got this message on FACE-BOOK - (My face-book gets the most action l8tly for some reason...)

So anyways the message was from an old friend on mine - Poker instructor "AL Spath"  It was a link to a site called Virtue-poker - and since I respect Al - I had to go and take a look.

For some reason.. my gut tells me something seems way off here (Online poker today) - and hm mm how can I say this.. hm mmmmm..over SOLD maybe?.. I guess?

No dis-respect towards Al Spath.. (I suggest you learn poker from this man) He only suggested the link.

First off.. Let's break it all down and take a look the name of this site.. "Virtuepoker" - The name itself says - SAFE. BUILT by PEOPLE WHO CARE.

(Why the need to pump safety & Integrity with an on-line poker site?) Are poker players unhappy with the OLDER sites?

I notice.. when I open the Virtuepoker's site that it is a set-up of buttons (links and names of links) that I've seen recently on another new poker site by a different name.. It's very close if not an exact match.. (Forgive me for not knowing the name) but it WAS the same setup.... OK, no biggie.. - This is what we call a "NETWORK of computer poker sites" in the on-line poker world. Virtuepoker is a SKIN site - I got no problem with that.. But still, something is just not right?

Why is there a need for a lot of the newer names of poker sites to be bundled up and wrapped around a stamp of being SOLID.. SAFE.. Using words like INTEGRITY & VIRTUE? How many players did online poker rake over the coals the last 10 years? (I see a shift in marketing)

Should we expect the book to give us what the cover is selling???... Should we BELIEVE these pitches because of what we read on a few of the poker sites links or in a poker magazine? Why do these new sites have to OVER SELL these pitches all of a sudden? Was RNG'S an issue? (I sure do think so.. and so do many of my pals playing on-line.. There are quite a few that left on-line all together.. In a nut shell... I know with all my heart I'm not alone here)

I've been in sales many years - and I can tell you - there are many times when a salesman can OVERSELL-PUSH and lose customers that they ALREADY HAD in the bag. It's never a good thing to PUSH too hard. Better to just show the buffet and let the customer choose what they like. Quality sure does help as well.. DO WE REALLY HAVE THE BEST and SAFEST POKER WHEN WE PLAY ONLINE?

The big questions I'll ask you to answer today is..

DO WE (Should we) BELIEVE WHAT WE READ ABOUT A POKER WEB SITES SECURITY and RNG to be 100% true? If the site SAYS they have "INTEGRITY" - Should we just believe this as FACT? (I'd like to see time and time again what a poker site is doing to give me a fair shot at winning.. To date - I don't think any these sites prove to us that we are getting a REAL RANDOM SET OF CARDS.. I'm not sure from talking to some computer nuts that TRUE RANDOM by a computer can ever be had...

I've seen too many KEY hand situations where LONG SHOTS.. crush quality cards and even more.. QUALITY PLAY.. I've seen this with various accounts. Mine, friends.. People I've railed/teach etc.. etc..)

Enough of my babble..

Let's look into the Virtue poker sites "INTEGRITY" link - the pop down menu gives you an option to see what their RNG is all about .. (It's the best!) Is it? I dunno.. Maybe.. It would be fantastic to KNOW that we as players are getting TRUE RANDOM. WHY the really fancy word OVER SELL??.. If ever I've seen an oversell like the 20 year old salesman at the car lot.. This is it! OK - enough of my thoughts.. YOU MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND... This is how the powers that be explain their RNG.

Virtuepoker's Real Random Card Shuffler

We're convinced that our card shuffling system is the best one out there. In fact, we're so convinced that we built an on-line poker room around it.

Our "Quantum Photon Shuffler" is essentially an unpredictable, scientifically- proven quantum-mechanical process inside a special, impregnable, 'hack-proof' "black box".

All on-line casinos use an RNG, but not all RNG'S are the same. Of course, for security reasons, we can't tell you exactly how ours works; but we can give you an idea:

At the start of every game, the table asks for a freshly shuffled deck.

The Shuffler requests a clean set of random data from the RNG.

This process is repeated again on the shuffled deck - i.e. a double shuffle.

The cards are then sent along a secure, encrypted line to the table - a freshly double-shuffled deck.

Before each card is dealt out, a re-shuffle of the remaining cards takes place. This means that each dealt card has been randomly drawn from a freshly reshuffled deck, each and every time.

And so on, until the game is over and the next one begins. This process of continuous shuffling is a measure of added protection to ensure the highest level of randomness and security that can be obtained.

A unique system:

It is impossible for player actions to influence the cards.

It is impossible to predict future cards.

As all the shuffled data is sent along a secure, encrypted line, it is impossible to intercept card data

Hole cards are only visible to the players that hold them. Even our floor manager cannot see what you are holding until the game is finished.

The design is simple and therefore fail-safe.

The "black box" shuffler is itself set within a totally secure system.

The only thing which can enter our shuffler is a secure, coded request for a freshly shuffled deck of cards.

The only thing which can come out of our shuffler is a shuffled deck of cards.

Yeah... there is a system in place alright.. and my gut tells me it's a very complex system of BALONEY. It's a good thing for us rounders however that these virtuous people have our backs.. so when our stack of CHIPS.. (REAL CASH) crashes and burns.. at least they have a "BLACK BOX" - We have a NEW system to blame.. GOD DARN "Quantum Photon Shuffler"

I'm not a fan of current RNG's or these NEW "Quantum Photon Shufflers" I'm told by many that the cards we all receive on-line are really random.. I'm simply NOT BUYING IT. If this is so... Why the OVER SELL? ("Quantum Photon Shuffler" - PPAAA LLLLLEEEAAASSS EEEEEE!) Why a need to sell like this at all??? Would not a product like a REAL DEAL POKER system from a "real deck of cards".. sell itself? I think if anyone ever comes up with a REAL DEAL POKER system - Ads won't even be needed - The news of a real deck of cards will spread like the H1N1 virus.. Killing all these older systems or at least - making them change the current SYSTEMS.

While I'm on a steam roller - I'll add.. It might be possible that some players are playing on ONE legit system while another is playing a not so legit/fair system. (we have to at least ask these questions) Don't be mindless on-line poker zombies.

Integrity - That's a major word.  We would expect quality cards to hold up and win even after the turn and river card. At least the majority of the time..

Hell - The RNG pitch is so good at Virtuepoker that even I might have to try this (new) site.. WAITE.. HOLD ON... EXCEPT ONE THING (I have this feeling I'm being oversold and possibly even ripped off by yet another used car lot salesman) I'd like to know WHY a site like this felt the need to BUILD a new site around this new magic black box? What was wrong with the RNG's that have been out there all these years? Huh? ANYBODY?

You can disagree with me.. but at least THINK ABOUT ALL THIS..

Of course poker players - I could be wrong... but I really doubt it.

A good balance of life and poker will make you a winner.

Oh, poker. The grip you've had on me since 1991.. Since my younger sun/fun filled days in Las Vegas.

This rounder made 50 trips to the city of sin, (a cool number), countless trips to New Jersey, Mississippi etc.. and of course night after night in back room games (I even ran my own games for a good 3-4 years 1-3 pot limit) and then - BOOM! I took ill... Most, but not all of these trips I mention, were prior to the MONEYMAKER years of poker.. I say this.. because I played with many of the big names in poker - before they became big names.. They became huge! I...

BOOM!

I had to leave the whole poker scene behind. I had to take a break from the action I so loved. I had to leave for a few years, (How would you like that? huh? It sucked.) Except for small stakes poker on-line Full Tilt Poker Homepage   and WPT & WSOP on TV... I was out of the poker loop. In a nutshell.. I had to die or get better.. No cards for me.

I'm happy to say, I'm back baby.. Daddy is 98% back and feeling fine! SO DEAL! To me.. Playing poker is just as fresh as it was back in 1991. To me.. Nothing beats the live poker game. Nothing.   (Now looking back.. It's OK. - I had a lot to learn in NL poker anyways)

I'm sure many reading this have been to Vegas... Some.. I'm sure been there many more times than I even and made tons more loot! (God bless ya.. really it's a tough game) but for a few reading this, the jump to the city of lights or Atlantic City..well, it's still a dream you have (As you sit in your house about to "go all in" with a click of the mouse....)Hell.. Some of you are probably 12-16 years old. (shame on you!) Wink wink..

Just do it!

I'm here to tell you it's a good dream wanting to treat yourself to the fun of poker in Vegas and Atlantic City, etc.... And.  That you can get there if you learn to play quality poker & learn to use BALANCE. Get your schooling first.. (*Non poker schooling for crying out loud - Have a plan B & C) Earn your pay the right way... Work. Make poker a hobby that PAYS! (*Then get some poker schooling if you really take to it) If you hit the 1.5mil mark.. Maybe I'll vouch for you playing PRO.

Let's get back to Vegas.

Let's face it folks.. If you love poker (And boy do I ever love poker) Las Vegas Rocks! Vegas poker rooms are at the top of the heap. Every true rounder will make their way to the strip in time.. It's a must do.. They will all choose the card den of choice and purchase a rack of red or white.. As they improve maybe even more..  Rounders will also make there way to DOWNTOWN Vegas as well.. (If you don't know why - your just a rounder in the works, better come visit our poker forum Xfilespoker Poker Forum ) OMG! I miss the midnight steaks and the quick dinners at the food bar/diner.. Boy - they took care of you downtown.. Even the 2/4 players. (Are you with me? If not.. Pretty sure that's all part of history now) Good times!

Poker is a hobby that pays you back many times over when you play with skill and have oh.. a little bit of lady luck on your side. This (+ balance) Patience, game selection, skills of hands and position, selective aggression, playing the player.. etc..  You got to love it! It's an awesome freaking game!

Be warned! (Enter scarey music here) YOU WILL LOSE at times.. Bad even.. (like kick you in the junk bad) But if you stick to a winning program.. you should come out at the end.. after many years or sessions of playing.. saying you have chose one great hobby. (It's the hobby that pays U back remember.. THERE MIGHT BE A TEST LATER - PAY ATTENTION!)

Even if you lose some poker sessions.. (and you will) many nights are SO MUCH FUN.   Just the PEOPLE you meet in poker is worth the buy-in many days. (The good , the bad and the ugly & smellyare all there people) Poker is a rainbow,   Plus... Real rounders LEARN when they lose a session... so it's not all bad.

Another thing... Rounders are far better off than the people playing slots and table games. Avoid these sucker bets as much as possible. (Yes - I played all these games too) HARD CORE. Sometimes you got to roll the dice. (They don't call them one armed bandits for nothing)

HI - LOW - YO!

I'm going long with this blog.. But, hey.. Just to paint a good image for you in your head.. I've stayed at just about all the big hotels.. always drove rented gold Lincoln Town cars, always parked valet. Always and STILL WILL get back-rubs at the tables and at the spa..

When I flew out west to play poker.. I stayed no less than 10-21 days on average... (This was all prior to my daughter being born - times change :) I played in every poker room they had in Vegas... Uptown, downtown, across town and out by hoover dam. - I had parties in comped suites, or in rooms or suites they would give to me at check-in with a lucky draw (regular rooms were sold out) I went to all the big shows.. some of which I hit two and three times to take friends out for a night on the town.  (Seeing Kiss in Vegas was a childhood DREAM come TRUE) What can I say.. I was a poor kid. I ate at the top steak houses WELL DONE please - KILL IT! (Circus Circus and Binions to name two) I've had my share of 99cent cocktails and cheap late morning breakfasts as well.. so many comped meals.. and room service.. I'd have to guess $ wise.... Actually I can't guess... but it was a lot. I played poker for days on end without sleep but soon gave that program up. (some never do) I read Dr. Pauly on the Internet before anyone knew this great poker writer.

I went to poker seminars when poker seminars where ALL the rage and NEW.. I tipped dealers and board people (list of games) more than the cost of an average home today I'm sure.. I drank Makers Mark and coke at the pool (never drank in a poker game, except maybe 2/4 limit) and... I played the radio loud... usually Queen, Kiss, Zeppelin or Johnny Cash. If I was a special trip with the boys - I'd even hit the strip clubs and had me a few lap dances. (I'm a bad catholic, Forgive me father for I have sinned) When in ROME.. you know..

(Major key is.. I never fooled around.. Always came back to my wife.. the lady I love.. or I simply asked her to come with me) BALANCE.

The point of all this is not to brag.. it's to offer you newbies hope! It's also to thank God for this life of mine.. (and the 2nd chance he gave me) plus to thank all the great players, writers, etc.. I met along the poker road. You see..  I did ALL this..and I did it with my poker winnings 90% of the time.. and I was never what you could call richy rich. Most, if not all of it was with LIMIT POKER too.. (yes kids.. it is an option.. shocker I know) My wife and I built buildings with my winnings/$1500.00/$2500.00 at a time.. A truck of block here.. Plywood there.. Buildings that are still to this day paying us back.

I ran with scissors with poker.. While I played I ran and built a new photography studio attached to my compound of a house.. During this time I made countless 2-3 day trips to Atlantic city... and those darn seedy back room games.. I always played hard.. payed attention and took it serious - while having one hell of a fun time.

I could never have afforded all the back-rubs and royal treatment had over the years had it not been for poker. (note - again, no big money man here) No Bobby's Room poker reports from this cat. I'm the biggest SMALL time player you will ever meet. 5/10 was good to make it happen IF youcould leave a winner.

I went long here with this post.. but I needed to make a few points.. I did all of this by A. Taking care of my wife and keeping the heat and lights on high.. B. Running a great photography studio (easy work for me) Another gift from God C. Learning how to play the game (really learning) hooking up with better players and listening. D.Tipping people that took care of me/us (Gave us great information) E.Always having BALANCE.. Getting away from the action.. Doing the pool, shows.. the Grand Canyon.. Why make money if your not planning to ENJOY the making of money and caring for the ones you love.. F.I Cashed out a winner... One of the best moves in poker is CASHING OUT! and (this is huge) I mailed the money home right away. (This trick paid for the next plane ride out and then some) G. I did it all UNDER THE RADAR and with not being known for the most part.

I ALWAYS TRY TO LEAVE A WINNER - IF EVEN $5 up in those hard grinding nights. Tomorrow is another day.. The card game never really ends as they are always in the air. We just take breaks is all.. If I can;t leave a winner - I cut my losses.

I'll close by saying this.. I'm back! Like babe Ruth - I'm pointing towards VEGAS! I'm telling all the poker players out there that are smart enough to listen.. STANDBACKWORLD! I'm coming back to your limit games.. Your NO-LIMIT games and your Tourneys too! I'm coming DAVID LEE ROTH style..   I don't look the same - I'm a tad older and heavier.. but I got game and I'm coming to crush your stack. Be ready Phil Hellmuth.. Ivey.

2010 is my breakout year. I've been under the radar long enough... Time to make a run for the gold. God, thank you.. I love poker. (Strippers are cool too once in a while :)

Ok - Early morning, drinking some joe and thinking poker already.... We are just a few days away from the 2009 final table action at the world series of poker in Las Vegas. Phil Ivey has all eyes on him. Can he take a small stack and double up? (He still has a good few orbits in him) What will be his plan of attack? Will the big stacks keep the pressure up early? The stakes are high and the table is set for some great poker strategy.

Darvin Moon - 58,930,000 Darvin Moon? Will he hold the lead? Will this loggers life be changed forever? He's a satellite winner with a very good shot at a wsop bracelet. It's rare for the big stack to stay the big stack but we will see how the card fly. He seems like a regular dude.. Not sure he's the best for pokers future.. but props to him for a great stack going in. I place him 3rd

Eric Buchman - 34,800,000 From NY - a poker player with some serious cash winnings prior to this event. He plans on having all his friends to Vegas.. Another large stack.. It will be fun to see if he comes out ready for battle or lays low..

Steven Begleiter - 29,885,000 Winning his seat in the 2009 wsop via a home-game league - this player is one of my picks for the WIN. It's a great story with him being an amateur who is already saying he's won. Not the bracelet.. Just by being at the final table in this years event. He's quoted to have said.. "he's dancing between raindrops..in the middle of a minefield and somehow I'm still standing"   Yes sir.. I'm pulling for this guy to be another Moneymaker. The other league members will chop 20% of his take.. (not bad.. not bad at all)

Jeff Shulman - 19,580,000 Did you hear about a guy this year saying that if he won a wsop bracelet he'd throw it in the garbage? Yeppers.. That's this guy. He's most known as the editor of Card-Player Magazine who has lots to say about a lot of things. (I have to say - I think SPADE-CLUB is trash.. just my thoughts Jeff) I do agree that Harrahs has managed some parts of the series poorly. Jeff pretty much thinks he a favorite... It will make for exciting TV watching him work his angles at the felt. I put him in 6th place. Figuring people will attack him.

Joseph Cada - 13,215,000 The youngest player in this years event will be this man.. Joseph Cada. He's a poker player with some really good winnings from on-line poker Full Tilt Poker Homepage - He took a break enjoying the Michigan summer and plans on doing the best with the cards he's dealt. He seems like he has a good head on his shoulders.. I'll be pulling for this guy too. I give him spot 5

He has 168K in tourney winnings to date - so this cash will be his biggest pay day ever no matter what finish. He and his son are very excited! Kevin can't Wait to come back.. The question is - will the cards fly right for this legend of poker. How will the others play him? I can't see them not keeping him on the hot coals.. He's flying around in private jets (not sure I believe all this... hmmm Might just be good media hype for all the teenagers) and living the high-life. He's a poker legend with many years to come. If he pulls this feat off - it will be one hell of a short stack comeback and only seal the deal as to WHO the best player is in all of poker. (Sorry to my pal Phil Hellmuth) I hate to be a spoiler - but I put him on being out 7 or 8. No way these players are going to roll over for a guy who already has 2 bracelets in 2009. They say you have to lose one first right? He's looking to double up quick and make it happen. I'd give this player a nod if he gets lucky early - Top 5/6 for sure.

Wow.. Time to hit the drink.

I just went thru the sickest 40 min of MICRO madness and GET THIS.. BUSTED OUT my entire roll for this $5.00 - $100K game.. I'm so bummed! Son of a _____ - I was doing my thing.. working the program and testing the poker software (software had me tilt BTW) Same issue as I posted about earlier.. with the players TEXT all over the poker games window.. Playing with tape over your cards would be easier.. (I've done it)

The number of times I was called and beat on the turn and river.. WOW.

Holy crap..

I'm full of shame as I write this post. But I always tell the truth and tonight.. I took a POKER beating! I donked it all.. I went to the POKER edge.. and fell off. They got me for the loot. IT ALL GOES!

I was looking around the features of the software and playing.. and having a good old time.. I NEVER PLAYED MICRO LIMIT BEFORE THE OTHER DAY.. MAN.. The DOOM switch of POKER was on tonight baby... It was like a tidal wave of bad luck. Did you ever have those games where you get kicked in the nuts over and over.. It was that kind of game.

Maybe Ivey needed extra rake to pay for fuel for that private jet of his.. (How bullshit is all that?) Cm-on.. I'm not buying it. I figure some of these guys are going to eating out of dumpsters someday soon. You waite. Let Ivey deal with what I just dealt with on FULL TILT. (That prick is probably flying over my house right now on the way to the TAJ)

Oh well.. MAYBE.. I'll add another $5 and take a shot.. I have to retreat to my bedroom - close the door - draw the drapes - turn off all lights and spend a few days in seclusion.. Maybe light one up. (been a while)

I'll let you know whats what - when the POKER GODS give me my next move.

Gotta love poker - I have lost thousands playing.. and this $5 hit hurts more than anything...

Not my style to loose it so bad..
